I’ve built design systems for agencies, telehealth, and white-label fintech. Each one shaped how I work. Agency work taught me to move fast across very different clients. In telehealth, I designed patterns for patients with a range of mental health needs, where one design decision could affect someone’s care. In white-label fintech, I built reusable systems that held their quality across multiple banking institutions.
No two organizations need the same system, so I start by learning how a company already works and why its constraints exist. That tells me what the right fix is. It might be a token architecture, a governance model, or coaching conversations with designers on my team.
Right now I’m rebuilding systems from the token level up. The goal is to support AI-generated design and code while keeping consistency and accessibility intact. I set the direction, but adoption is the real work. I build contribution and intake models, mentor designers, and create shared ownership. I also make the system easy enough that teams choose it over workarounds.
